Iligan is Asking for Your Help

This is to inform everyone who wants to help the victims of the flash floods in Southern Mindanao that the Iligan Bloggers Society, Inc. is accepting donations in kind for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in the city.
More specifically, they encourage the following items for donations: canned goods, noodles, bath and laundry soaps, toothpaste, rice, used clothings, slippers, and cash donations.
Philippine National Red Cross already bringing Sendong's death toll to 652 in all of Southern Mindana, higher than the 464 recorded by the government in 2009 when typhoon Ondoy poured record rainfall over Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Luzon.
Iligan-based donors can go to St. Michaels' Cathedral, DXIC Radio Station, City Hall, Rizal Park, and Calda Pizza Iligan City Branch. If you need to verify the validity of this request for assistance, then do so now. However, do not let your doubts delay your help even further because time is of the essence for many of these victims.
For non-Iligan-based donors, you can ship your donations via LBC for FREE and send it to this address:
