Wonder Woman Has the Right Color

Wonder Woman
Comic-Con season is here and every comic book fan, collectors and follower are going to like some things that were not changed when their favorite hero are transformed into movie screen action character.

The annual gathering of all things geeky actually kicks off a few days ago in San Diego, but recent developments about "Batman vs Superman" has come early to tide everyone over until the big release.

Entertainment Weekly unveiled new photos and a first look at the upcoming super-flick that will pit the Dark Knight against the Man of Steel, and the most important thing about them is that Wonder Woman’s costume is actually red and blue, which alleviates comic purist fears that it was basically a copy of the Xena outfit.

The magazine also talked to director Zack Snyder about the movie.

On the initial idea to include Batman:
"I said, ‘What about at the end of the movie we do a scene where there’s a crate full of kryptonite delivered to Wayne Manor.’ Everyone was like…’Okaay.’ Once you say it out loud it’s a problem because you can’t unsay it."
On building DC’s onscreen universe:

"It’s a marathon. No, it’s a marathon within a marathon. Do you know that race from Death Valley to the top of Mount Whitney? It’s, like, 100 miles and it’s from the lowest point in the continental United States to the highest. It’s crazy. Anyway, it’s like that."
And, of course, no "Batman vs Superman" first look would be complete without talking to the Ben Affleck. Here’s what he had to say about the new version of the character:
"He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it. But this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical."
