Most Disliked Video in YouTube: Ghostbusters Trailer

Ghostbusters Reboot
The new trailer for Paul Feig’s "Ghostbusters" reboot dropped last 18 May, but the longer than two-minute preview was not yet officially launched on one site: YouTube. The reason is that the producers are scared. Scared of the truth. And the truth is that the movie is bound to be a dud.

The second trailer for the supernatural comedy/action film starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth was posted on only Facebook and Twitter.

The first trailer (see below), released 3 March on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, made news in April when it was noted as being the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history, according to "MyTop100Videos" channel’s "Most Disliked Videos."

As of 18 May, the first trailer had more than 32 million views on YouTube with almost 803,000 "Dislikes" compared to 238,4000 "Likes." It is currently ranked the 12th most disliked video on YouTube in general, according to "MyTop100Videos."

Tony Zhou has a simple conclusions with a couple of key points: "Comedy editing is an art" and the verdict on Ghostbusters video ultimately will come down to "the simplest metric we have: Is it funny?" The answer: Not at all.

This new trailer makes the Disney "Hunted Mansion" movie look good and that's not saying much.
