EC Members With No EC Widgets

Entrecard No Widget
Compared to a number of networking sites, Entrecard (EC) appears to be more valuable in introducing a blog to the market. Introduction does not necessarily mean the site will attract avid readers and followers, but it could generate such reaction given the proper formatting and quality articles.

Hence, it is not surprising to see several bloggers feel the consternation when they notice droppers who do not have any EC widget on their site. This denies them the opportunity to make their intentions known and advertise their activity to the other site.

For those who are not familiar with Entrecard, it allows members to place their widget ad on any other blog in the network for one day. The number of days before the ad is displayed is dependent on the cost and popularity of the target site.

Entrecard also allows its members to earn some EC credits in a variety of ways that do not necessarily cost any money. With the credits earned, members can purchase advertisements on thousands of blogs, or shop for hundreds of products and services in EntreCard’s virtual marketplace.

The sites with no EC widget were reported to the management a month ago, but no action was taken yet. This is surprising given the swiftness of their action in the past and considering that the following provision is clearly stated in the terms:
Once you sign up, we will provide you with an Entrecard widget which you MUST copy and paste on your blog site. All new sign up are reviewed by our team before we approve or reject your application. You will be notified via email.
The owners of the sites with no EC widget might not have known about this ruling, but is it not the function of the management to inform them about the possible violation? Should the owners also do their part by finding out more about EC?

Anyway, some sites that were reported not having the proper EC widget include the blogs below:
  1. http://thugnature.info/
  2. http://galatasarayistanbul.com/
  3. http://www.pokalbrezmeja.com/
  4. http://onlyonejackson.com/
  5. http://thecelebrity-world.com/
  6. http://www.odecembercovercontest.com/
  7. http://www.sustainablemasculinity.com/
  8. http://y-mycity.com/
  9. http://www.davincismario.com/
  10. http://www.ieeebahcesehir.com/
I tried sending messages to the owners of the blogs above, but was not successful. Do you know of other sites with no EC widgets?

  1. I have done the same and their answer is that they have the widget. so I guess that means the widget is INVISABLE.

  2. I've nixed the majority of those sites. One had a warning in the profile, but none of them had widgets, despite being long term users. Next time, try reporting them through the feedback form in your dashboard rather than contacting site owners directly for widget violations.

  3. I've a feeling that EC has become too automated of late and that there are hardly any "real people" monitoring the site. I've mailed them a couple of times in the past few moths about a number of issues and never got a response.

  4. i hear yah! sometimes it's annoying...I thought some of them might have bought the points from the EC and so they were able to advertise on many different blogs...That's why when you open their sites, they have no widget there.
