Infographic Map of Each Country's Produce

Infographic Map
Do you know what your country is famous for?

An infographic map produced by elephant journal revealed some interesting things about each country, specifically in what it leads the world in.

For instance, the map showed that Republic of Ireland leads in quality of life, while Brazil leads in the number of FIFA World Cup Titles. Lithuania was identified as a country with one of the highest percentages of literate people in the whole world, while Philippines is known for its rampant usage of social media.

However, not all descriptions are flattering. The map identified Honduras as a country known for its high number of homicides, Spain with high cocaine use, Djibouti for child labor, Namibia for wealth inequality and Turkmenistan for corruption.

Other not so flattering label classified Russia as the country with the most number of raspberries and nuclear warheads, while United States can boast of having the most number of nobel laureates and people getting killed by lawnmowers.

Elephant journal described itself as dedicated to "bringing together those working (and playing) to create enlightened society."We're about anything that helps us to live a good life that's also good for others, and our planet. “

Founded as a print magazine in 2002, elephant journal went national in 2005 and then (because mainstream magazine distribution is wildly inefficient from an eco-responsible point of view) transitioned online in 2009.

The journal has been named to 30 top new media lists, and was voted #1 in the US on twitter's Shorty Awards for #green content ... two years running.
