Changes in FeedBurner This 2021

FeedBurner Changes
For those who are still blogging and are intent on optimizing the contents of their blogs, FeedBurner is considered as one of the more useful tool. This is a web feed management service for monetizing RSS feeds, primarily by inserting targeted advertisements into them. It was founded in 2004 and acquired by Google in 2007.

Feedburner replaced an ordinary RSS feed by a modified feed; the original feed becomes a private feed that only FeedBurner can access. Apart from advertising, published feeds are modified in several ways, including automatic links to Digg and del.icio.us, and "splicing" information from multiple feeds.

To make it relevant to the present times, the developers are making changes to support FeedBurner’s next chapter. To active bloggers, here is what is expected to ensure that everyone is prepared.

Starting in mid August 2021, the developers are transitioning FeedBurner onto a more stable, modern infrastructure. This will keep the product up and running for all users, but it also means that it will be turning down most non-core feed management features, including email subscriptions, at that time.

For those who use FeedBurner email subscriptions, it is recommended that email subscribers be downloaded so that they can migrate to a new email subscription service.

For many users, no action is required. All existing feeds will continue to serve uninterrupted, and they can continue to create new accounts and burn new feeds. Core feed management functionality will continue to be supported, such as the ability to change the URL, source feed, title, and podcast metadata of the feed, along with basic analytics.
