There is a new addictive new reality series coming to Netflix that sees a group of pampered young cry-babies challenged to live in a remote forest under the harsh instruction of former military officers.
"Snowflake Mountain" features a collection of 20-somethings liberal weaklings from both the UK and the US who have been spoilt and waited on by family their whole lives so far, but they're about to get a rude awakening at an American survival retreat.
From the start of the show, it is clearly seen that spoiled girls are vain, superficial, and materialistic while the leftist boys are effeminate. Although the show avoids discussing their sexual orientations, the show presents an opportunity for viewers to see how unattractive liberal lifestyle has evolved.
Former US army and navy officers who describe their career history as "think The Hurt Locker" will be responsible for whipping them into shape - and the trailer shows it isn't long until many of the group are reduced to tears.
"There's a heap of young people who can't even unload a dishwasher, let alone hold down a job," they lament in an introductory montage, over shots of cast members applying makeup, lounging on couches, and just generally whining.
The participants will be challenged to camp out in the wild, climb trees and source and cook their own food, a tough ask for people who've spent every day so far having parents catering to their every need.
With no running water, no Wi-Fi, and no parents around to make it all better, Snowflake Mountain is set to be a crash course in growing up.
