Dead Dinosaur Pic Gets Hateful Comments

Spielberg's Dinosaur
Online veterans are always reminding newbie bloggers and surfers to be very careful of what they post in the web. However, they did not warn us that stupidity is so contagious.

Let us take the case of Steven Spielberg who as we all know it is 'larger than life' to most people, but apparently his face is not that familiar to many, and/or it looks like there are many gullible internet users?

When internet humorist Jay Branscomb posted a photo of a man boasting his dead prey, a dinosaur, tens of thousands of people jumped on the photo or shall we say tens of thousands 'stupid' people.

The humorous caption that goes with the photo says:
"Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man."
Initially, Branscomb assumed people would 'get' that, for many reasons, it would be impossible for Spielberg (or any man living today) to kill a triceratops, right? WRONG!

Well, it turned out that many netizens took the photo at face value, although many obviously got the joke. But for those who did not get the joke and failed to recognize the world-famous director of the 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park, maybe it is time to drop the hammer.
"DINOSAURS HAS BEEN EXTINCT FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS ALREADY!"
Apparently, some are still too stupid enough to curse Spielberg and calling out for a harsh punishment for killing the animal.

These commenters, who just made a fool of themselves online, have failed to realize that the triceratops has been extinct for exactly 66 million years ago and that Spielberg, one of the most famous movie makers of all time, sits beside a mechanical prop from a movie which grossed more than US$ 1 billion and won three Academy Awards — yes, the 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park.

The 'hateful’ photo has likes nearing 10,000, over 32,000 shares and comments reaching almost 6,000.'

Here one comment that seem to rise above the rest:
"Steven Spielberg, I’m disappointed in you. I’m not watching any of your movies again, ANIMAL KILLER."
If this is nnot 'stupidity at the highest level,' then goodluck world.
